About the event
It can be hard to watch someone you love live with anxiety. Naturally you may want to help to reassure, sooth and provide comfort. But when does comforting become triggering or even enabling? It is important to remain grounded and practical in your efforts to support them.
Anxiety is normal and common to feel when you are out of depth and facing uncertainty. It can drive us to problem solve and effectively face our challenges. However, when anxiety is a extremely pervasive in our lives it can make things more difficult to navigate than normal, from stressful feelings, increased levels of conflict, to relationship breakdowns and delays in duty.
These sessions are geared towards supporting people with anxiety and their loved ones to learn how to identify symptoms and cope to aid more harmonious ways of moving forward.
